Book Review- World's Best Boyfriend by Durjoy Dutta

Title: World's Best Boyfriend
Author: Durjoy Dutta
Genere: Fiction; Romance
Published by: Penguin metro reads
Rating: ***/***** (3 out of 5)
So, I bought this book a couple of days ago but as soon as I started reading it, i knew that the story was somewhat similar from Durjoy Dutta's TV show 'Sadda Haq'. A boy and a girl studying in the same engineering college, trying to destroy their lives and in the process of doing that, they fell in love with each other.
Aranya and Dhruv were in love when they were 12, but a single lie changed their lives forever. At DTU they try to demolish each other by various acts but eventually Dhruv, with the help of his senior cum best friend Sanchit fell for Aranya and at the end rescue her from her professor Raghvendra. During this journey they fight, they laugh, they cry and finally they make out.
Frankly the book didn't rose upto my expectations, because there was a certain monotony after a while. Also there is too much overdoing of the swearing thing to make the book look cooler which only make it worse. The characters are limited and hence not confusing but at the end the story becomes too predictable for the readers. Durjoy could have done much better than this.
I would give this book 3 out of 5 stars because at last a positive things about the book is that it is about women empowerment and about a girl to stand on her own no  matter what. overall this book is a one time read only if you are a Durjoy Dutta fan
